Alexander tips
The challenge with learning the Alexander technique usually comes in the time following your lessons: that is when life intervenes, and it's easy to forget to apply what you have learned.
In fact, we all need reminding sometimes to move more thoughtfully. Wouldn't it be nice if, just when you are unconsciously stiffening your neck to peer at your computer screen, fiercely gripping the mouse or clawing at the computer keys, someone reminded you gently that you really can choose not to make all this unnecessary effort?
Anyone who has had a lesson at Barn Hill Alexander can join the Barn Hill Alexander Google group and receive just such reminders by email: completely free weekly Alexander tips.
I might suggest, for example, that you stop for a second and let your eyes 'sit back', letting what you see come to you. You might then also find you don't actually need to push your head forward, or to stiffen your neck, or twist your back.

I very much look forward to hearing from you.
